Kelly Grappe (D)

Kelly Grappe is a lifelong Arkansan, community builder, and proven leader who believes democracy works best when it works for everyone. With three decades of experience leading teams, managing complex organizations, and building programs that help people succeed, Kelly knows how to bring people together to solve problems and make government work for everyday Arkansans – not special interests.
From launching leadership programs at Verizon and Rock Dental to co-founding Stand Up Arkansas, a civic education nonprofit empowering people to understand and use their voice, Kelly has spent her life helping others find purpose and power in community. She’s fighting for a future where every Arkansan – especially rural families, women, and young people – has the tools, opportunity, and freedom to shape the state’s future. Rooted in collaboration, fairness, and hope, Kelly Grappe is leading with the belief that when we work together, there’s nothing Arkansas can’t achieve.
Kim Hammer (R)
Kim Hammer is an anti-voter election denier. In 2021, he introduced legislation to suppress voting rights by eliminating early voting on the Monday before Election Day.
Hammer has also promoted unfounded claims about the 2020 election. After the election, he referred to Democrats as “enemies” and called for “political war” against them, a statement he later deleted following public backlash.
Hammer has introduced a series of bills aimed at restricting citizen-led initiatives, including measures to intimidate petition signers and create a new “election police” force. These proposals are designed to suppress voter participation and undermine direct democracy.
Cathy Hardin Harrison (R)
In 2021, Cathy Hardin Harrison emphasized election integrity as a key focus of her campaign. She stated her commitment to ensuring elections are “free from fraud,” pledging to make sure all elections are “won by votes of legally registered Arkansas voters” and promising that “those who try to cheat at the Arkansas ballot box will be caught and punished” – none of which are real, verifiable problems that Arkansas is facing.
