WASHINGTON D.C. — Today, the Democratic Association of Secretaries of State (DASS) endorsed City Councilwoman Chelsea Clark for Ohio Secretary of State. If elected, Chelsea would be the first Black woman to assume the position in the state.
“We’re excited to support Chelsea and her historic campaign for Secretary of State. As a city councilwoman and entrepreneur, she has a record of putting people ahead of politics and is committed to preserving access to the ballot, regardless of party or zip code,” said Kim Rogers, executive director of DASS. “Chelsea Clark is exactly what Ohio needs to keep our democracy working.”
