WASHINGTON D.C. — The Democratic Association of Secretaries of State (DASS) endorsed former Athletic Commissioner & attorney Cisco Aguilar for Nevada Secretary of State. If elected, Cisco would be the state’s first Latino Secretary of State.

“We’re thrilled to support Cisco and his historic campaign for Secretary of State. He will fight to ensure government works for all Nevadans and that starts with preserving access to the ballot, regardless of party or zip code,” said Kim Rogers, executive director of DASS. “Cisco is an innovator and an advocate for our democracy – a stark contrast to his Republican opponents who are more concerned with relitigating 2020 than talking about how they’d serve Nevada.”

The momentum behind Cisco’s run is clear after he raised $486,000 in 2021, nearly double what three Republican candidates have raised combined in the same period. DASS will throw the full weight of its operation behind Cisco for what promises to be a competitive race in the battleground state.
