ANNOUNCES NEW EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold takes the helm as new Chair of DASS
On Tuesday, February 2, the Democratic Association of Secretaries of State (DASS) elected a new Executive Committee. Elected to the position of Chair, Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold. Elected to the position of Vice-Chair, Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon. Elected to the position of Treasurer, Connecticut Secretary of State Denise Merrill.
A statement from Connecticut Secretary of State Denise Merrill, outgoing interim-Chair of DASS:
“It has been my pleasure to serve as interim-Chair as DASS following the appointment of now U.S. Senator Alex Padilla. I would like to thank him for his service to this organization and applaud the great strides DASS has taken under his leadership. We all wish him well in the U.S. Senate. I also would like to applaud our new DASS Chair, Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold.
